Well.. this is my first entry. Let's see how this goes.
I'm happy about a couple of things: I just found out yesterday that my site has gone up in the ranks at Camelot Dreams. I've progressed from my team fighting to the main fighting at The Roundtable. Looking at last weeks scores for the winners, I stand a really good chance at winning that one too. This is totally unexpected and has helped my mood this past week or so. My site is an extension of me, hence why I'm putting this journal up. Anyway...
I'm also happy because my masquerade partner just sent me a few cards and some kewl stuff. Take a look at the site s/he's prepared for me: http://mysteryone.freeservers.com/ I think I'll be adding a separate page for all the stuff. It's getting a little big to be adding to my team spirit page. I guess I could break up the spirit page and make a separate one for each team.... arg... I'll decided what to do later. I'm re-arranging things on my other pages right now anyway.
Let's see.. Lugh was yesterday. I didn't get there until late because the top of my bathing suit was blown off my balcony into the tree next to the apartment building (it's still there, too). Bill-the-Cat called in the afternoon wanting to know what happened... he picked me up and took me out there. At least I found one of my old one-piece suits. I'm glad Bill took me out there cause I had a blast at the event. The party at Corwin and Asling's house was wonderful. The pool was actually WARM! I think the best part was when I started wailing on Corwin with the "fun noodle". ;-) It was a sight to see.
Other things that happened at Lugh: Luca the Scared Cow of Grey Niche was voted Ms. Lugh, the Gunga Brothers Dave and Keith were both voted Mr. Lugh, as even our Mighty Baron couldn't tell them apart. (I've got pictures, once I get them developed I'll post them in the gallery.) Earl Sir Padruig won the Warlord Tourney, Burford won the "Iron's in the Fire" tourney, and the Baron of Three Rivers won the Wheel of Fire tourney. There was much shtick played up for the upcoming war with Three Rivers, included a archery target with the Grey Niche Arms on it, or at least what was supposed to be our Arms. Feast was great. Huzzah to Zarah for the excellent food!
I've got to get my notes up from my different events. DOH! That's the one page I've forgotten to transfer from my old site: The Further Adventures of Lady Lethann. *sigh* I'll get to that when I finish putting up everything else. Yes, I do end up working on this a lot, but for as much as I may complain, I love it. This is something I'm good at, really good at, and enjoy doing. Heck.. as I'm writing this entry, I'm working on my pages. :-) Multi-tasking is such fun!
Today is fighter practice. I think I'll take my "Lady of Shallot" to work on today.
Well.. I can't think of much else to say. Maybe I'll post more tonight.
